There was a real buzz around the pitch today as we welcomed our newest winter signing, Evie, for her debut. A fresh new kit and a fresh new face brought an extra spark to the squad, but there was nothing uncertain about the way she stepped into the team. From the first whistle, she looked as though she had always been part of the line-up, fitting seamlessly into the rhythm and spirit of the team. Match report New Mills u14 v Whaley Bridge u14 - 01/02/26
The Millers started brightly and took an early lead when Mayson finished well after a decisive pass from Darragh. Whaley responded quickly with a long-range effort to level the score, but the Millers continued to cause problems. The front three were a constant threat to the Whaley back line, and Mayson soon grabbed his second after an excellent assist from Bertie. NMJU10’s MATCH REPORT 27th February
New Mills were up against High Lane Gazelles today for a lunchtime kick-off at Stockport Sports Village. The boys started with James in goal, Rhys and Charlie T in defence, Stanley, Charlie J and Jackson in midfield, with Dylan leading the line as striker. The opening 10 minutes were a little scrappy, with nerves showing on both sides as each team struggled to find that final touch. Stanley reacted quickly at the back post from a corner and firing home a shot that proved too
