The Mini Millers were back in action this weekend in what turned out to be a closely fought battle, with the game ebbing and flowing in both attack and defence throughout. There was a real buzz around the pitch today as we welcomed our newest winter signing, Evie, for her debut. A fresh new kit and a fresh new face brought an extra spark to the squad, but there was nothing uncertain about the way she stepped into the team. From the first whistle, she looked as though she had always been part of the line-up, fitting seamlessly into the rhythm and spirit of the team. The Millers started brightly and took an early lead when Mayson finished well after a decisive pass from Darragh. Whaley responded quickly with a long-range effort to level the score, but the Millers continued to cause problems.
