Today's game started with a minutes silence for remembrance weekend, which was impeccably held by both teams.
The Millers started the game positively and were keen to put last week's result behind them. It didn't take them long and they were quickly into their stride causing problems for the opposition.
It was looking like it was going to be one of days with the crossbar, post and the Benchill keeper preventing the Millers from breaking the deadlock.
Eventually the pressure paid off and Eddie found himself in space and managed to loop the ball into the top corner to make it 1-0.
The Millers went from strength to strength and quickly found themselves 2-0 up, with a well worked passage of play which was calmly slotted away by Harry P.
The Benchill defence was working hard, and conceded another corner which was eventually bundled home from close-range by Bobby to make it 3-0.
It was a quiet day for Oli C in goals today, but he still managed to keep his concentration and be alert when called upon.
As the half time break was approaching Tyler found himself with space on the edge of the
Box and curled a sublime effort into the corner of the net giving the keeper no chance.
In the second half, it was more of the same, and it wasn't long before Oli F got on the scoresheet with a well taken goal.
The midfield continued to control the flow of the game with Harry P, Tyler, Jimmy and Brodie linking up nicely with some patient build up play.
Eddie, Bobby and Leighton were solid at the back and were able to start the attacks with some calm, composed passing.
Overall, a fantastic team display which consisted of hard work, discipline and some excellent football goals along the way.
The 'Brainmat' player of the match went to Leighton who was super today, he was first to every ball, and was controlled with his passing, well done.
We would like to wish Benchill all the best for the rest of the season, and we praise them for there never give up attitude and it is a credit to their coaches. Well done all 👏
