Match report NMJFC U10's Hornets V Richmond Rovers Blues - 22/2/25

The earliest of early kick-offs for The Hornets last weekend. It was 8:15am start so most of the lads had to get up at 6am to get to Woodley in time. Our Mini-Millers were slow out the blocks and didn’t get the start we were looking for but Oliver B ⚽️ made sure we alive with a fantastic strike.

Then Albie ⚽️⚽️⚽️ turned on the magic on and The Hornets were flying again. Boom, boom, boom  a hat-trick for maestro.

The greatest moment was still to come though. . . . . . When Albie sent in a sublime cross and our Chalie-Boy ⚽️ was on the end of it! First Goal for Charlie that was thoroughly deserved in the most incredible match.

Well done Hornets! A display of passion that made everyone watching very impressed.

POTM went to Charlie 🏆  for never giving up and believing in himself! The celebrations from his team-mates showed how highly Charlie is thought of in this team. The noise from the parents was incredible too.

The Hornets Fambo came alive 💛🖤
