An excellent and entertaining game played today with some high quality passing and a chance creation made by the Mini Millers.
Hazza marshalled the defence and gave superb instruction to his team mates. Dan F and Mayson were strong in the tackle and passed forward with accuracy with good tempo. Bobby, Darragh and Bertie controlled the midfield with super counter attacks at speed and Ollie drove the team forward with energy and superb crossing from the left wing. Dan W worked hard to link the attacking play and created the first goal for Bobby with a great turn and early cross with a calm finish from Bobby. Darragh scored with a confident strike in the bottom corner.
Bertie then scored one of two headers from an excellent Ollie corner. Bobby scored a free kick with a well placed shot.
Another excellent Ollie cross was knocked in for an own goal near the end. Greg was strong in the tackle and passed well in both positions he played in and Ryan went close to scoring on several occasions with the Richmond keeper making some good saves to deny him.
A great display from all of the team fantastic attitude to work hard with fast tempo football when the chance came.
