Match Report NMJFC U10s - 15/10/23
New Mills U10s Yellows v New Mills U10s Blacks
New Mills u10s were facing each other today which was expected to be a tight game. However, the New Mills Blacks started the stronger of the 2 teams .
Harley managed to convert a great corner in the early stages to find Shea who neatly volleyed home.
Not long after this the Blacks pressure provided Harley a close range stike with a lovely assist from our striker, Archie.
The game was end to end with lots of chances for both teams.
Our captain of the day, Liam, managed to stop the Yellows attacks time after time.
Kian worked hard down the right and managed to find a loose ball to score a great individual goal rounding a defender to calmly slot home between the unfortunate keepers legs.
The second half started with changes and the Blacks found themselves on the back foot slightly with a wonderful strike from Archie.
this gave the Yellows a lift.
We knew today we had to try and keep him at bay but James our keeper had no chance. Overall both teams had vital players missing, but still managed to provide a game full of effort and determination.
Harley worked tirelessly and managed to find the net a few more time with the hat trick being a wonderful placed goal! Well done harley.
Bobby, Joe and Oliver worked their socks off today and did the team proud. But our POTM goes to Shea for such a great work ethic and a great goal to top it off.
