Match report NMJFC u12's Vs Richmond rovers - 16-04-23
And before we know it ....... it's the last game of the season.
The Millers who welcomed a Richmond team that convincingly beat us back in January, were looking to rectify that result.
With a good support turning out for the lads last game of the season the boys turned the style on.
It was a very good display from everyone.
Every single player did what their role was asked of them.
Some great passages of play throughout the game, working the ball calmly and controlled.
Lewis got the scoring off direct from a corner.
His corners were a real thorn in the visitors side today and with a second goal quickly following through Bogdan at the back post.
Richmond were trying to get into the game with some good possession but an excellent backline of George and Cary and the ever-present Dillan in goal were proving very tough to breakthrough.
Our wingers were working hard with and without the ball, our midfielders are creating chances and nulling the Richmond attacks.
The Miller's 3rd was an unfortunate OG but it was nothing more than the lads deserved.
Richmond grabbed a goal towards the end of the game which some would say they deserved as they never stopped trying.
After speaking with the opposition and the referee the J TAYLOR ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS player of the game award went to ; George, Cary, and Dillan- who's defensive display was excellent.
The Millers are now stepping up to u13s which in turn now means 11 a side games.
Please look out for up-and-coming posts regarding future friendlies.
Finally a huge thank you to our club sponsors Swizzels and team sponsors - J Taylor Electrical solutions and JC Motor services for your support throughout the season.
