Buxton Young Bucks Blues v NMJFC u12s
The Millers was playing on Silverlands today and it was a chilly morning in Buxton.
Today we was playing on a 4g pitch and it was set up nice and wide, ideal for wingers.
The game started and it was Buxton on the front foot pushing the Millers back into their own half.
The Buxton wingers was causing all sorts of problems down the wings , but Josh and Cary was working hard tracking back and anything that made it into the box was cleared up by George and Ross.
Halfway through the fist half and Millers started to get hold of the ball with Lewis and Joel winning the ball in midfield and looking to pass the ball out wide the Millers started to attack.
Halftime 0-0
Second half saw both teams trying to break the deadlock.
Ollie M was working hard upfront with Bogden.
Toby was playing some lovely one two's with Joel on the right wing.
Finally halfway through the second half Lewis played a cracking through ball to Bogden who smashed it into the Buxton net.
With 15 minutes to play Buxton then started to look for the equaliser, a number of fantastic balls was played in from the Buxton winger, luckily their was no one on the end of them to finish.
Late on in the game the Millers looked like they was about to get a second as Bogden rounded the keeper only for the Buxton defender to slide in and clear it off the line.
Great game of football from both teams today.
POTM went to Josh today who worked really hard up and down the left wing 👏👏👏👏👏
