Unfortunately for the Millers it was a case of not being ready for the early morning kick off. Although taking the lead with a great goal from Remo, the lads struggled to get started and play their natural game.
Hollingworth equalised with a scrappy ball played in across the six yard box which was not dealt with. The lads battled hard to contend but also seemed a little off the pace.
Letting Hollingworth control the possession and play was never in the game plan and they seemed to punish every New Mills mistake and take their chances to build a commanding half time lead.
Starting the second half knowing they had to score first was exciting what the Millers done. Bobby finding the back of the net to give a little hope but unfortunately Hollingworth was in no mood to let us back into the game and a few more goals with the aid of a penalty which seemed to confuse both sets coaches why it was given.
The Millers did produce a touch of class before the end when Harry P hit the top corner from
a excellent Eddie corner.
Today's 'brain mat' POTM goes to Oli C. Oli was magnificent in goals today and I have no doubt that scoreline would be a lot worse without Oli’s heroics between the posts today. Well done Oli.
