New Mills u10 v Glossop Red u10. The Mini Millers were in fine form this morning playing some lovely passing football from back to front and scoring some excellent team goals.
Dan W donned the gloves as no keeper was available today and was calm throughout.
The defence of Tommy and Indi were strong in the tackle and played forward quickly and accurately to the midfield.
Gregory and Bertie were attacking with real menace down both flanks with both scoring well taken goals in the game.
Ollie, captain for the day drove the team forward and linked superbly with both wide players and Ryan who made his first start on a Sunday who played with composure and positivity. He also created several chances for others on many occasions, Ryan also scored a calm finish, rolling the ball home with confidence.
Mayson and Dan F came on and added energy and quality to the performance with Dan F winning his duals and driving forward with the ball linking with Mayson in midfield.
Mayson showing fantastic control and dribbling then scored and excellent solo goal for the team beating several players before passing calmly into the goal.
Dan W came out for the second half and created several good chances for his teammates with his superb link play.
Tommy went in goal second half and did a good job too.
This was a superb passing football display where any player could have taken player of the match.
Ryan was given the award for an excellent display working hard upfront and also tracking back to help the team.
