A fresh, sunny start down at Craig Road saw the u10s take on Offerton Park. Rob took on the management of the team in the absence of our usual coaches. It’s fair to say the teams were evenly matched and supporters enjoyed a tough but entertaining fight between the two sides. Offerton Park got the first goal but the Millers responded a minute later to equalise from a well taken goal by

It didn’t take the opposition long to go ahead again but the Millers never gave up. Just towards the end of the first half, the opposition extended their lead and the score line remained the same until the end. This, however, never meant the Millers gave up as the fight and determination from the whole team saw them play some excellent football to entertain the crowd. There was great distribution from the back line up the field and excellent foot work and passing from the the players
. They created plenty of chances and on another day, the result could have been different. A special mention to MoM Hazza, who stopped a fantastic shot in the second half, keeping the mini Millers in the game!!! Well done and well deserved Hazza ⚽️💪🏻
