Today’s game was played in searing heat and at a frantic pace throughout. The Bluestar keeper making several good saves before a defensive mix up led bluestart to score.
Undeterred the Millers kept playing their passing football and Bertie was rewarded with two well taken goals, after nice passing play between Bobby and Darragh, they created the opportunities to score. Mayson and Daniel F defended superbly and passed out well from the back to link with the midfield.
Dan W went close to scoring several times with his terrific work rate and pressing of the opposition. Cole was superb in goal with excellent handling and good communication with his team mates.
The second half was played at the same pace with Freddie and Ryan adding energy down the wings and helping to create chances for others. Freddie assisted Bertie to score again after great work to win the ball back. Darragh then delivered a superb corner which was headed home superbly by Bertie.
