NMJFC U10 vs Hollingworth Wolves U10

A super performance from the Mini Millers today. They dictated all of the play and spent most of the game encamped in the opposition half. The passing and moving on display was a joy to watch, using the width of the pitch well. Alex got a goal getting on the end of an Ollie cross. Darragh powered in a header from corner taken by Stan.

Daniel F was proving difficult for the Hollingworth defence to handle. The defence didn't have much to do but did it well when called upon, the highlight being a tackle from India preventing a 1v1 on the keeper. Cole had to make 2 super saves when called upon. Another 2 goals were scored in the 2nd half with Dan W slotting the ball through the keepers legs. Tommy got a goal when the ball reached him at the back post from a free kick. Greg was unfortunate not to score a couple from very good crosses from the left by Ollie.

POM went to Bobby, he controlled the tempo of the game really well, always finding a team mate with his passes and most often in the right place to prevent any counter attacks.

The team wish Darragh a speedy recovery from his broken wrist today.
