Evenly matched teams out in force today with end-to-end action throughout the whole game.
An opener for the Glossop side only for us to come back with a well worked for goal from Ava with a lovely assist from Freya B.
The girls dropping back and defending well throughout the whole match and winning the ball back made for some tough midfield action. Glossop claimed another only for our same pair, Freya B assisting Ava this time to slice one in! Good work you two. Jay took some fabulous throw ins today and kept the game moving well, we must mention Nieve’s wonderful skills down the wing today, taking the ball past Glossop players with a spring in her step. You are so unselfish and aways look to pick out a teammate that could be in a better position - forever smiling too! Two Keepers on their toes today, Lily braver each week! Frustrating for some of us today with a physical Glossop side and a couple of injuries but the mini Millers dug deep and fought their side. Bella took a clattering but was up & raring to get back and made some wonderful clearances with well thought out play today. Freya L had a tough player on her back throughout the whole game and worked hard and took opportunities whenever she could. Jaz our captain today, again making lovely through balls and never backing out of tackles – good work! The Glossop supporters were very complimentary of our girls today as were their coaches! Bring on the next one!
