NMJFC u12's have been playing their best football and doing it consistently now but just not getting that little bit of luck you need....... and today was another example.
The lads looked solid from the start and with Cary covering in goal for Dil he was talking to his defence the boys looked in control. With some great 1st time passing and solid tackles the boys were getting on top.
Ollie Mc and Alfie upfront were closing the Poynton defence well which was causing them distress.
The ball fell to Lewis 20yards out who struck it well and chipped the keeper. ⚽️
Poynton tried to do NMJFC on the break but George and Ross dealt with it well and with great work from the midfield it never came to anything.
With the game getting fiercely competitive and with the ref letting alot go new mills had to make changes due to injuries.
The Millers had forced the home Gk into 3/4 good saves as well as hitting the crossbar twice as well as the post.
With the ref playing 4mins extra the home team pressed and grabbed an equaliser at the death.
The way the boys played and stuck by each other was good to see.
Everyone can see what myself and Nick are trying to do with the football the lads are playing.
