Inter Cheadle U14 Girls 1-0 NMJFC U14 Girls
New Mills played a good game today against Inter Cheadle with a couple of players missing. The rest of the girls stepped up and did themselves proud.
The match was closely fought out with both teams creating some chances. New Mills were proving to be difficult to break through with the only goal of the game coming early on with a shot going just over Maisie who volunteered to go in goal today. New Mills were really unfortunate not to score a goal themselves with Niamh G forcing a decent save from the Inter Cheadle keeper. The work rate from the team couldn't be faulted as all the girls put in a decent shift.
GOG was a joint decision today going to Maisie for volunteering to be keeper and doing a good job, and Olivia for putting in a dominant performance in midfield, putting herself everywhere for the team.
