Match report NMJFC Under 7s - 15/10/22
After a couple of weeks off due to injuries and illness, the U7’s were raring to return against Great Moor Pumas U7’s at Brinnington.
With a full squad to choose from, plus new team member Stanley, the U7’s started the game with great energy. Running for every ball and using the space of the pitch to great effect, the team created a number of chances in the first half.
Great Moor Pumas played their part in a fantastic game, with their passing football creating their own chances making it a great end to end game for the spectators.
This continued into the second half with both teams giving 100% right up to the final whistle.
The whole squad were awesome today. Special mentions to Paige and Tobias for each playing a half in goal, with both making great saves and doing some brilliant goal kicks.
Captain for the day Teddy, was a constant thorn in the oppositions side with his tackling and positive energy. Plus a huge welcome back to Charlie who returned after fracturing his wrist.
But the final mention is to today’s player of the match, Stanley, who on his debut for the team was involved all over the pitch. He ran back to support the defence when needed, but his biggest threat was his attacking runs and ended the game with a fantastic hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️
