Match Report - U11 Yellows - Sunday 24th November

Writer: R.OakesR.Oakes

The Yellows lined against Chapel Town Yellows U11’s at Glossopdale on Sunday.

Looking to bounce back after a very tough game the previous week, the Yellows started the game well. Lucas, Henry and Sami were solid in defence, concentrating all the time and communicating really well.

There was some great passing in midfield too with Nathan, Angus, Oscar and Robbie moving the ball forward to create some great chances. It was a brilliant first half performance from the Yellows.

The second half started and the opposition came out stronger. Fletcher and Riley were in the thick of it trying their best to win those loose balls. Bertie was putting in some amazing tackles in defence. Zac was coming under increased pressure in the Yellows goal. But Leo was creating a number of chances and was unlucky not to get on the score sheet today.

🏆 Nathan was our well deserved player of the match winner today. Non stop running and positivity from start to finish.

⚽️ Oscar with wonderful technique for his finish today.

Today was a tale of two halves for the Yellows. We stay positive and look to go again next week - and by working hard for each other and being a team will help us get there.

⚽️🖤💛⚽️
